People seem surprised whenever I say something substantive, but it might just be that they are so used to me joking that I caught them off guard by being serious all of a sudden lol.

The basic point is that you're likely going to live out your life, and nothing of note will ever happen to you. It's not gonna happen guys :avbehh:
It's great for a bunch of dudes to huddle around an e-campfire who are all amazing diamonds in the rough but just haven't caught that break or who feel like they've been unfairly ignored for whatever reason. It's a nice narrative that people like to spin about themselves but it's mostly delusional and worse dishonest. It's dishonest about the realities of your situation and dishonest about your tendencies and general mental make-up i.e. humble clandestine geniuses who are producing brilliant things of note that no one has come across yet somehow.
In fact it smacks of arrogance, e.g. Funeral saying it never crossed his mind that he was bad at whatever he was doing.

I don't know. Maybe this is just delusions of grandeur, but I feel like I've constantly been trying to improve myself over the years and be the best I can be. I'd rather not try to fall into the same traps over and over again. It's like I'm never satisfied. Once I get to one point of success/accomplishment I just want to get to another level. The fact that I've made it to this age is an accomplishment. I'm always working hard to make things better for future generations and contribute to the greater good of society that way.
