I'm not sure if I worded this correctly lol

But my parents broke up in 2000, due to my pops cheating on my mom with a pole dancer. Ever since then, my mom's been getting DRAGGED for 17 years by her boyfriend who CLEARLY has no plans to commit to her. They'd broken up for about 2 years (2008-2010), during which she tried dating other dudes and it didn't work. She eventually got back with the dude, who's been canoodling and cavorting with other women dang near their whole relationship, and they're still together right now. I know for a fact my mom is tired of waiting (I saw her Google "tricks to get man to marry you") BUT she's afraid of being lonely, as well as she may just be comfortable with the situation.:yeshrug:But it's sad. My mom is worth so much more than this. She's worthy of REAL LOVE from a stand-up man.

I feel for what their problems have done for our family structure, or lack thereof.

My biological father got shot and died when I was like 10 or 11, my stepdad came in when I was 2.

My mom and dad got divorced about 11 years ago, I saw my mom cheat on him (she brought all of the kids to the other nikkas' crib :stopitslime:). She didn't allow me to see my real dad's side of the family consistently until after 18. We have no family structure or any type of traditions even during holidays, both my mom and dad are trying to leave the city as well :mjcry: ion even speak to my oldest lil sister, she's a complete dikkhead who walks over my mom and takes my dad for granted...the bytch dropped out of CC to work towards buying a car :mjlol: my youngest sister be wylin with school attendance. the bullshyt between my mom and dad trickled down to us and we're paying the consequences

Poor decision making, if you go after a certain type or chase someone just for looks, swag, phat ass, etc it aint gonna last. Your mom only has one person to blame and thats herself. Western culture promotes love/lust and nikkas being falling for it all the time. You gotta find someone you can trust, get along with and count on than you can learn to love em as time goes on.

Idk.. op.. you can't let you're mom's life and problems be yours. All you can do is tell her how you feel, let her know your perspective and how it's affecting you. But, real talk, you have to be strong enough to distance yourself it because that's the result of her life choices. My father cheated on my mom, too and left her with us kids. My mom harbored a lot of resentment and my father was emotionally distant, it affected us, ultimately leading to a series of bad decisions on my part. Not that I blamed them for everything, but I internalized a lot and built up a lot of negativity. Lot of time and effort wasted on my part that I could have spent improving myself, then she ended up in another toxic relationship with my stepfather.. I tried to intervene a lot of times but I ended up always being the 'bad one' for trying to help or defend her, when in the end she would just forgive him anyway and cause friction in the mother -daughter bond that I had with her. I know that's your mom but there's only so much you can do.. you can't make her change or instantly see your perspective and you need to focus on not making your life worse, at the expense of your mom. Your mom has to realize her own value and be determined to make whatever changes that she needs to. Domestic situations are hard to intervene in anyway because they're both trying to manipulate and control the situation; you'll just be caught in the middle of that. It's ok be concerned and have discussions with her but don't let it control your feelings and emotions to the point that it's disruptive to you. I had to learn the hard way.

Why does she DESERVE a good man? What makes her so special? If she lets a bum n1gga cheat on her for 17 years, why would God punish an actual good man by letting a good breh wife her?

I don't want to be the one to tell you this... but your mom probably rejected hundreds of good men over her life because she wasnt attracted to them. she dug her own grave

You're looking at this the wrong way, your Mom LOVES being treated like that. she loves the excitement. she would be bored by a church dude with a stable job (of course she probably desperate now, after 30 years of bad relationships, she might be nice and half-azz a marriage with boring simp she wouldnt even looked at 30 years ago:francis:)

17 years, no fukking ring? Googling on how to "trick a man" into marriage? A good woman doesnt do that.

Cmon, your mom is a certain type of woman. The one we Coli brehs never wife.
