Power-walked through a park at 3am on sheer adrenaline once, I was craving for someone or something to step out and give me a fight :whoo:

I truly felt untouchable that day, senses were Jet Li status :wow:

Yes. I get up at 4:45 everyday. I stretch and then I start my 2 mile jog at 5am.

It is dark and quiet. You can see the constellations and I guess a planet or two.

It's best to leave your music off. So you can hear whats near you. I had to learn that.

Wouldn't have had to do that if you knew brazillian jiujitsu

I did when I was a high school for wrestling. Cops kept stopping me so I only ran in the daytime and with a group of white boys. :yeshrug: I lived in the burbs

I jog late at night...after 10pm or early in the morning before 6am, when the pavements are clear..... never had issues

Your dreams
I'd walk between 11pm and 1pm alone. Every so often a car would pass me and ask if i was ok.

Never bumped into other walkers or runners. Only people out would be police and security guards at their posts.

I loved the cool night air and tranquility. Hated running into dogs some nights.

Being a woman the only reason i wasnt scared was because:

Its in one of the "best" neighbourhoods so
Not much night traffic.
A strong armed police presence because a lot of diplomats and politicians and rich folk who guarded their stuff in the area.
Security company had vehicles in certain places for quick response.

Stopped when there were armed robberies in burb near by where my bestir lives. I was afraid that there would be a response but would it be fast enough? There were economic problems and I felt there were more desperate people... (Zimbabwe).

We have a very long drive way so I became suddenly afraid.

I wish I could still run at night. I live else where now and its a good part, police guards... But I have kids now. Can't risk my life... But how I miss those long walks alone.

Will try to go out at least around 5am when my 4 month old is bigger.

Don't live in that neighbourhood anymore coz that's my moms house...

I've done this plenty of times in the city. I only felt uncomfortable in hood neighborhoods because people their would kill you just because. I've never had a single problem in white neighborhoods... you actually come into contact with a couple joggers at that time as well.
