I think so…group of dudes tried to jump me…only one actually punched me in my head before I ran…me and my cousins found all of them solo except the one who hit me…went to his house but no one answered…a few weeks later he was in the paper…he shot someone on the train for looking at him which unfortunately was a very common thing in the early 90s…idk if that was the first time he killed someone but he was clearly a killer :lupe:

Yes, nikka named LeLe and he is doing 50 years in the SC dept of corrections. My homeboy got his jaw broke by him matter of fact but before that we had put the beats something vicious on him. So LeLe snuck up on him one day and got a cheap shot. A few months later he murdered my homeboy Fredo. He heard that Fredo fukked his girl and when he found out, he caught him outside a night club and shot him in the chest.

There's no justification for murder! In this case, this man is getting into his car to drive off and gets shot twice. And that's what makes this county as bad as it is senseless killings. And this was as senseless a killing as any. I go to other places and say, 'Orangeburg County,' and I hear 'Oh, that place. That's a bad place.'" Circuit Court Judge James C. Williams after a jury returned a guilty verdict on an Orangeburg man on trial for murder.
Williams let his displeasure be known when he sentenced 23-year-old Levon Gilbert Mintz, AKA "LeLe," to prison Wednesday.
"It is the sentence of this court that you be sentenced to the Department of Corrections for no less than 50 years," the judge said.

Mintz's sentence came after a jury deliberated for about 2-1/2 hours Wednesday.
"Two and a half years and this (victim's) mother is finally getting some closure," 1st Circuit Solicitor David Pascoe said. "Justice was done in Orangeburg County today."

Appointed by the court to handle the case, defense attorney Glenn Walters attacked what appeared to be inconsistencies in witness statements and their testimony on the stand on Tuesday.

During closing arguments on Wednesday, Walters reiterated those points.
However, Pascoe countered during his own closing that the discrepancies only went to show the statements were rehearsed.

During the trial, witnesses testified that, Mintz was in The Pub nightclub making threatening gestures toward 22-year-old Alfredo Lewis, who was on a dance floor in the club. That hand gesture was mimicking the shooting of a handgun, they said.
At one point, an altercation inside The Pub prompted security to close the club earlier than usual. Security personnel of the nightclub ejected one of two groups of individuals involved in the argument.

When the second group followed the first into the parking lot, witnesses said they heard at least two gunshots.
Officers arrived at the scene to find several witnesses attempting to get Lewis into a vehicle. Those individuals told police they were rushing the fatally wounded Lewis to the emergency room.

Meanwhile, in a courtroom containing several family members on both sides, Williams cautioned those present against any outbursts or threats.
"I know this is a difficult case for those involved," Williams said. "But we're not going to have any emotional expressions or somebody's going to spend the night in jail on contempt of court. And that's a promise."
Before sentencing, Levon Mintz Sr., the defendant's father, offered to the court a different theory as to what transpired that night.

"We're not mad at the jury, we're not mad at the state and we're certainly not mad at the (victim's) family," the elder Mintz said. "I learned through others that someone else did this. We want the right killer found."

"I'm sure you shared that information with law enforcement," the judge said.
"No, I did not."
"You've had since December 2002 to do that. If you thought this information was credible, you would have shared with law enforcement a long time before now."

However, part of what the jury didn't hear during testimony that was credible, Pascoe said, was that Mintz had been charged with assault several times before, once in connection with another shooting and in yet another incident in which a man was nearly beaten to death.
"He's been getting off and getting off, but the citizens of Orangeburg County aren't going to put up with it any longer. I'm very pleased with the sentence," Pascoe said. "Orangeburg is a lot safer place because LeLe is off the streets."

My stories be long as fukk, so imma try to keep it simple.

Growing up there was a nikka in the hood that ain't like me. He said it's cause I'm always doing too much thinking I'm the shyt, I'm like wtf? Ion even be doing shyt but anyway the shyt escalated one day when I was about 18/19 he sends me a text (how he get my #???) letting me know "its up there for you" "when I catch you it's a wrap" etc. But what got me was he sent me a picture and that's how I knew this nikka was crazy. He had a pistol in one hand, a rifle in another, and a combat knife in his mouth. No caption, nothing, just war.

Mind you Im from the streets but I never gangbanged so I wanted to refer to my friends to help get this nikka to leave me the fukk alone, but my pride wouldn't allow it. Told my dad about the shyt, he let me hold down his .357 while I was back in Chicago for winter break.

Nothing ever came from that, in fact we got cool like a year after that shortly after he joined the military. Dude had some kinda change of heart, admitted he was tweakin, n since we was from the same hood and no hands were thrown before, I just dapped him up and went about my life. I wouldn't say we became friends after, but again I was away at school he was away for military so every time we came home the hood showed us both love whenever we got back. So we'd see each other at block parties n shyt everything was good. Last time I saw him he was married and was rising in the army ranks. Good for him.

FF cuz I'm tired of typing I get on Facebook one day everybody posting his picture saying he dead but ain't nobody throwing up RIPs for this nikka. I'm like :ohhh::patrice:must've been deployed or some shyt but still it's a shock so I hit the guys bro tell me why they tell me it was a murder-suicide bro just lost it and killed his wife before killing himself!!!

Man's had YEARS of great behavior between the time he went to the military and that tragic night. Only reason I can't say I didn't see this coming is because of how he USED to be, but again he was hella normal after that. shyt crazy and has stuck with me for life because I could've easily been the mf he decided to just snap on

When he grew up, breh shot a guy at a party in front of witnesses, and beat the murder charge. I think this is what lead him to believe he was untouchable. Because he shot and killed another dude that hit on his bm (she is fine ah).

Later down the line, he killed 3 other ppl. He would’ve gotten away with it too, if his crimey didn’t snitch on him. Now breh is serving multiple life sentences.

He’s pretty infamous where I’m from, and brehs still don’t get at his bm, even though he’s never coming home.
Good thing that this guy is locked up. It's really good that his associate snitched on him too, otherwise he may still be out here killing others.

If there is a concern with his bm getting sexually satisfied locally due to the fear this guy's name still brings, she just needs to get her passport and a sanky panky in DR will treat her right.

I got into a situation like OP is describing back when I was a kid. I won't go into too much detail. But when I was about 13, I was in my apartment complex and I saw this other kid walking with cake in his hand. Lets call him "X". He thought I made a comment about him for some reason and he challenged me to a fight. We scrapped and I didn't get my ass whooped, but he won the fight. He was older, but not a whole lot bigger. But fair is fair. He won.

Fast forward a year later. Me and another kid got into a fight. Him and his brother ended up trying to fight me at the same time. Lets call them "J" and "E". This time, I won. Ended up beating both of their asses in front of the apartment complex. Rent a cop security lady ended up having to come out and break it up. She sent them home literally crying to their mother.

Now the only bad thing about getting into a fight with "J" and "E" was that they had this basketball hoop that their mom had bought them and they had it setup over near their apartment. I swear they got that shyt maybe a month after we fought because when I was cool with them, they didn't have it. This admittedly had me feeling some type of way. I was pissed. I had too much pride to try and get cool with them to play on their goal. So I just said fukk it and kept it moving.

One day, my moms had me take out the trash. So this is in an apartment complex. I have to haul this shyt around to the dumpster. While I'm doing that I have to walk by an area where I can clearly see these dudes outside playing ball. They look like they having a good ole time to. Almost broke a young Phoenix bird's spirit. :sadcam::mjcry: Hell I even saw "X" over there playing with them and some other people I didn't even know. I kept it pushin though. Dropped off the trash, then came back towards my apartment. All of a sudden, I hear gunshots. DAMN. I hit the deck.

I don't know who's shooting or where it's coming from. One thing you have to know about these apartments is that they were hood as hell. So much so that when the company that owned them renovated them and tried to fix them up a little, they asked the cops to setup shop over there. So they literally had an HPD substation in the apartment complex. I just happened to hear those gunshots as I was near that substation. All of a sudden I see cops running out of there with their guns drawn and headed towards the shots. I wasn't dumb enough to follow them so I had no idea what was happening.

It turns out the shots were over where "J", "E", and "X" was playing ball. "X" apparently had gotten into it with some other kid that was playing ball over there. And instead of squaring up like me and him did the year before, he pulled out a gun and shot the kid to death. DAMN I'm glad I wasn't over there. I was pretty good on the court when I was younger and I KNOW I would have been talking MAAAAAAD shyt. LOL. Probably woulda got my ass shot.
