I got Maschine, all I need are some samples, a decent mic, and a copy of photoshop and I'm straight.

I have two ideas for how to approach a mixtape/album

1. A MCHG type album (think "Tom Ford" style production) with beats like this...

I could just do some Rick Ross type struggle bars over that for fun...

2. A street/nerd rap slick hustle wordplay type album with a concept. Real spittin and lyrics and flows.

I wanna fukk with this beat...

I would just try to make 4 sonds before anything though to see how each would play out.

A few years ago, I just started writing rhymes. I wrote some alright stuff, but my downfall was getting writers block too much, and not being able to write a hook for shyt. So if i ever did try to be a rapper, i'd be spittin 32 bar continuous verses.

I do have one verse memorized that I'll just spit if one of my homies who have heard me rap are like "yo, my man can rap, spit something" at a party or whatever.

I wrote my first rap with my white neighbor when I was 8. I can't remember shyt in it but for some reason I remember a metaphor about the tv show Allen strange in it. We even had bars back then :win:
We both liked rap but came from different worlds. When I was listening to Nas and Biggie, he was listening to Will Smith because it was the only rap cd his parents allowed him to have. :pachaha:
I still rap now but I just do it for fun. Don't really expect to make something out of myself. shyt is fun to just chill, get high and freestyle. Here's one I did with my nikkas. I come in at 1:04

I rapped a little about 6 years ago, had a viral hit and was offered a showcase with a hip hop legend. I turned it down. I don't want to be a rapper but I know I'd be signed right now if I kept rapping.

Yes, I felt this exact way back 08'. Rap game got lame for a mintue. Everybody was making lame dance songs (stanky leg, Ricky Bobby) all the mainstream rappers were using Autotune and making sings about tricking. I was just digusted by the radio so me and a couple of my potnas started recording. One of the most fun times of my life. We recorded a lot of shyt in a short period of time. Even did a few shows locally. But I did with intentions of it being a fun hobby cause I had a me a full time job. When some of the other cats wanted to try to go legit with it is when it fell apart. shyt even led to one of my potnas getting divorced and now his ex wife is married to one of the other nikkas we were rapping with :snoop:

If I get a chance, ill post a couple of songs on here
