The difference between the United Kingdom (UK) England, Great Britain (GB) and the British Isles
Why is England or the UK sometimes called Britain?
"England" is sometimes, wrongly, used in reference to the whole United Kingdom, the entire island of Great Britain (or simply Britain), or indeed the British Isles. This is not only incorrect but can cause offence to people from other parts of the UK. (See nationality of the British people).
England, Scotland, Wales, Great Britain refer to different 'parts of the UK. The British Isles includes many islands not even part of the UK.

not bad...but i was in the barber shop today and after discussing the Raptors nikkas was discussing how qualifying goes in the 100m races and stuff
argument 1: they do it solely based on time
argument 2: the first two in each heat automatically go through and then everyone after that is based on time.
I was with argument #2 and barber #2....barber #1 was arguing for argument #1 and then a female hairdresser came in and cosigned him. I used to run track so I was pretty sure it was #2 and it would just make more sense. shyt got heated.
Needless to say nobody was able to for sure prove the other wrong and I told em to just google it. I'm too lazy to do so myself but I stand by argument #2
