that pretty much is the 1 move where its like, you can't make your self lighter coming down..you can't really brace THAT much for the move.

I figure that a lot of the double stomp has to do with plyometrics, like how you can jump high as fukk to do a box jump and land lightly on the box (if you've ever done box jumps)....

From the looks of it, I'm guessing your best bet is to not be a stiff when you're taking it. If you're the guy getting stomped, you tighten your core and lift your torso slightly away from the mat like a crunch when he's coming down, almost like you're catching him or you roll with it upon impact and hope he skims you with his heels like Devitt always seems to do.

The guy jumping almost never gets all of his weight into the stomp.

Been doing this shyt all day, there is no way to shift your weight, how are nikkas not dying :mindblown:

You need to pull your body a bit sideways so instead of a straight drop with all your weight a lot of it goes towards your upper body falling to the side. And as said above, the guy who takes the move, gets his torso up from the mat so there's a bit of room to pull your body back as it hits and lessen the impact.

You keep your legs bent in air and as you land you can either roll through or sit back. A good way to envision it, is when you jump on a rock to cross a stream you are focused on keeping your momentum moving past the object, and not just landing on it applying full force. The wrestler is a stepping stone to your rollover or sitdown.
