Neither the mirror or camera are truly an accurate image. A camera has too many technical limitations and variables such as how light and dimensions are captured The only thing a camera will help is showing how you look from left to right from the eyes of a third person since we only see ourselves in the mirror in reverse.

this is easily confirmed, take a selfie then flip it and I guarantee you'll prefer that one.
