I realized when I was 4 and looked myself in the mirror and started to question the LA riots. Realized that I was in Canada in the midst of winter and why would this touch me so deeply
I was 4 at the time the next day i picked a NWA at the disc store
That’s when I knew I was more advanced than my peers when that track hit me

A girl in my 12th grade English class was way smarter than anyone else that I'd ever met. I always thought I was pretty smart but talking to her made me feel like a dumbass. She might have been a genius.

If you work in software like me at any well-known organization you'll meet plenty of these people. The best of the best keeping billion-dollar companies afloat.

You'll also meet some straight up morons as well, but the ones who are legit keep the company running and end up carrying the slack. Again, showing why they're exceptional at what they do.

Then there's everyone else, the "manpower": doing honest work and getting feedback/expertise from those who are ultimately the sharpest or have the most experience.
