You ever notice that Wii U games NEVER go on sale?

Nintendo makes quality games that are "timeless". They know that people who buy a Nintendo console late in its run are still gonna want that 3 year old Mario 3D, Mario Kart, Zelda, etc., so why would they lower the price on it? Maybe if other game developers made games that won't be grossly outdated within the next year they could do the same shyt?

I remember during the wii years, smash melee and other gcn were still 40 dollars
It takes years for nintendo games like pokemon to get down to 25
