From the story you tell she didnt curve you, you just wanted two different things. Anyway, she made her choice :yeshrug:
Right. Why can't people be happy for one another? Just because she ain't with him she gotta be lonely and bitter? Sounds like OP is bitter. I'd bet you money if you asked her to choose between being with OP and her career she'd choose the career.

Nah... It's reverse, I'm actually the miserable one. All of my ex's pretty much leveled up after me. One ex in particular is really living her best life... Her husband copped her the Maserati truck when they first dropped, they stay on vacation in some exotic location, and love posting selfies from the balcony of their condo overlooking Atlanta.

We talk from time to time and hearing how happy she sounds fills me with absolute joy. When I was at their wedding, it kind of stung when she was telling him how lucky she is to have him.
Breh I negged you for this post, maybe I shouldn't have.

But what i will say is this. Work on yourself, it's not too late to become your best you breh. Delete her from social media. I wouldn't have gone to that wedding but what's done is done.

Do you have any specific goals you wanna hit ?

Just saw one of the women I dated briefly. She was on the same roster as my wife. I really liked her physical but she was one of those super career women. She told me she wanted to be married but didn’t see herself as a family type wife, she was like maybe I can push one kid out.

FFWD 10yrs. She’s super successful working for a media company. No kids no husband. No man. She got her career though. her lonely ass GF’s all they do is brunch and take IG pics.

Women gotta understand that career life ain’t gonna love you back. Career ain’t spooning you in the bed at night.
Did she say she was unhappy and miserable OP?

Yes.

One of them now has 3 kids by 3 different men - struggling on welfare

The other has 2 kids by 2 different men - and is a stripper/prostitute in a barren town in the deep woods.

*Chance the rapper voice*

:blessed: "I love my wife! I love my wife!"

I use The Coli to vent when I'm not speaking to my therapist and I'm a miserable sack of sh1t right now. The love of my life, my wife was cheating on me and I got put out of my own damned house that I'm still having to pay for.

I'm a big grown ass ashy 30 year old sleeping on the fukking full sized bed that I slept in as a teen at my parents house. They tell you that the number one cause for divorce is finances and after I dug us out of the pits of financial hell, she told me that I didn't provide for her emotionally but she appreciates what I did financially.

You think you're doing everything right to only find out there are four or five ni99as in your business and she's telling them that she's single. She wasn't fukking them but she was entertaining advances...

I went to her wedding because we're platonic friends and she was the first person I called when I found all of this sh1t out. I got married before she did and she came to my wedding also.

You're young, enjoy your youth jit. I had to take a day off to go sign the lease for my studio apartment and I'm drinking my mom's wine and smoking one of my pops Black N' Milds to ease my mind.

Don't end up like me...

I was in your situation at 33 (well, no divorce :whew: but my girl left me after I lost my job and I had to stay with my parents for a year).

Don't let it drag you down. In retrospect, moving back in with my parents was the best thing I could do at the time, not because of finances, but because of the emotional support. I used that time to level up and I'm in a much better situation right now than where I was before everything collapsed around me.
