The article says that he got rid of the gun (most likely trying to get rid of evidence), but they have video of the altercation (headlock part), and witnesses that heard the woman make the threat. The article is unclear whether or not they have video of the shooting.

Still, they have enough to put this fool away for life. Plus, his woman will most likely cut a deal and place more of the blame on him.
