I know the point of this thread is mostly to post dope Dilla jams but for some reason I've always thought he's not really a "hear 1 beat and you get it" type of producer. I think you have to hear a few beats to realize his genius.

He's got so many eras and styles. Damn. Tough choice. I;d want to play something off Ruff Draft but I'd probably end up going with

Donuts is far from Dilla's best work though.
It's more like an album of sketches to me.
