and seeing him listen to it and vibing with it, you realize that the album actually is better than remembered. The album actually aged nicely and got hated on nasty in real time! "Shoot em up" would def be a hit today, Nas was doing that melodic rap sh** before it was the SOUND of the past decade, GOAT :blessed:

the album is really solid…
it gets a bad rep because people always associate it with the concept of the double album

you cut out big girl. you owe me
and add better production and its a really good album

the rapping is good/great

life we chose
family
come get me
last words
project windows

all them tracks gas… them songs alone better than that overrated hitboy run

i'd still keep "You owe me" strictly cuz it was bumpin in the clubs, it was the first and only CLUB song nas got, he performs it and crowds go crazy, Timbo laced him with a DOPEEE beat not just some throw away, Ginuwine came through with the hook. Let the GOAT have a club joint to his arsenal, ain't nothing wrong with it :ahh:

I’ve noticed most of these reactors will listen to all the big names from the 90s. It seems near universal that most then call Nas the GOAT

Yep

I’ve noticed that too.

I fukk with these cats. You can tell that love hip hop.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
BIG def get a nod as well, i follow this other reactor Dex who considers BIG one of the GOATS, but yeah he also considers Nas the GOAT, rightfully so
Dex said flat out Nas is the GOAT. And Pac is his fav rapper. The other kid King Gvap flat out said Nas is the GOAT after 3 years of listening to basically everyone.

Nastradamus is one of the most underrated albums…

That album predicted Y2K and many modern marvels.

My nikka was looking like a Black Jedi on the cover too.

Nas was spanked Jay and Bleek

”You make hot songs but she know u steal from me”

(Nas calling Jay a biter before Cam really made it known)

I’m not ashamed that I brought this and Stillmatic more than 5 times.
