I disagree. Initially I think this was the case, but now I think it’s less about Future. On some level it’s transformed into her proving something to others. all she has to do is look online at comment sections to see how people feel about her and her relatIonships. As for Russ I believe there were some low key grievances between him and Future over Ciara and their son, so yes on some level as a man he could be letting Future know that he’s the shyt—the mvp that did what Future wasn’t capable of and did it well. I think they’re just happy though, and they should be. They’re blessed.
