The cost of those options suck, I'd rather stay myself. But if I had no choice I'd pick good looking and intelligent. Society has a bias towards good looking, intelligent individuals, so I'm more likely to be successful and I should get some sort of respect from people anyway.

You would have zero respect. You would just be a good looking intelligent person who everyone walked over, and cared nothing for your thoughts. You would never get respect.
