Lemme ask my wife.

I didn’t know so many brehs in here lived alone :picard:
This is an even bigger challenge if two adults have to eat on a budget of 50.

Basically each of you has to make $25 worth of food last for the month.

The key things are:
1. Nutrition
2. Durability

If your food doesn't have the vitamins and minerals your body needs, you'll run into some problems with your health. If you buy shyt that will spoil after 2 or 3 weeks you're fukked.

Im not gonna tell you how to live your life but it will help you if you know how much your wife spends on food and what these things actually cost in the event that you find yourself as the sole breadwinner and shopper in the family.

Only protein/meat you can afford on that budget is chicken or pork
Beef & fish are $8 plus a pound

That's less than $2 per day.

Would have to be Ramen Noodles (I'll only use a little seasoning), Oatmeal, and Tuna pretty much.

I'll admit I've never had a budget that low before :hubie:

What I'm doing:
20lb rice--$12 great value
20lb beans--$16 great value
20lb russet potatoes--$12
4lbs frozen vegetables--$6
Seasoning and spices-$4

Getting vitamins and minerals from the vegetables, fiber from the rice and potatoes, protein from the beans, seasonings and spices can make that shyt taste different depending on the day of the week. I can plant the potatoes in my home and grow extra if they start sprouting near the end of the month.
The only place you getting seasoning and spices for $4 is from dollar general, and that ish won't do nothing.

Good try tho otherwise.

I said nah. At that price point you're limited on lean meat, poultry and fish. So basically it's beans, rice and shyt like that. Maybe eggs will stretch too
