Great thread. I'm so thankful to be able to grow up in Louisiana on this. I'm from Central Louisiana, back in the day we didn't get along with New Orleans loud mouth. We small town Louisiana boys use to beat the breaks off them Nola boys, a lot of them were cool too. I use to go down there back in the day, my brother live there. He worked offshore. He take me all over the 9th ward, use to kick it in the Fischer on the Westbank. we use to have No Limit parties in 90s. The good ole bruh.

We have this Louisiana Network up here in DC. At first them Nola peeps would look at my funny when I told them I'm from Cenla, but once they got to know me and see the cars and hoez. :salute: Now they can't throw a party without me.

Louisiana love at the end of the day.

Alexandria or Lafayette?

Slim is just very very in depth in various businesses in the Nola.....he is the business man/ real nikka of the group, the other older brother was the hood nikka, Baby is just flashy, but he gives back to the hood ALOT people don't that

If slim wanted to he could probably be up there with Diddy and dre, he is just quiet with his.....

I don't know about c murder, but fiend is cool and the 17th ward is easy mode but anywhere bear dumaine and iberville....no thank you I love life too much haha

I remember reading awhile back that Birdman's brother owns the largest home in South Florida, is that true? :lupe:

Yea me too but I was able to replace most of my discs but some of them are in bad shape...I was lucky to get rare cds like Mia X Good Girl Gone Bad and Skull Duggrey Hoodlum 4 Life, etc.

I tossed my Duggery album in the bushes after he caught those horrific charges couple years back.

Yea I don't listen to it its just there for the collection purposes

No doubt, I do like alot of the lesser known NL releases like Lil Italy, Sons of Funk, etc.

I remember back in the day there was a backlash against Lil Italy for being a "part time soldier", I never knew what people was talkin bout though lol.

It was because Lil italy wasn't really with the tank...K-Lou (you remember him from being down with P during the bay area days) asked P to do him a favor and do a one album joint deal for Italy...So technically, he was a K-Lou artist that was given No Limit privileges when he was not on the tank...you can tell from the album sound and how Italy wasn't on other releases like that
