Keri Hilson did not get blackballed. Beyoncé never blackballed Keri. In fact, artists close to Beyoncé and even Beyoncé worked with Keri even after Keri allegedly dissed Beyoncé. Why would Kanye work with Keri Hilson all while claiming Beyoncé was his "big sister"? He appears on the album Keri was promoting when she allegedly dissed Beyoncé. He featured Keri on a Good Friday track and hopped on a remix to the single from Keri's next album. On top of that, Ne-Yo who worked close with Beyoncé appeared on those same songs and wrote for Keri. To top it all off, there's a demo of a song called "Rumors" featuring Jay Z.

Keri Hilson is just one of those artists who just didn't click with huge audiences like that. It happens. It doesn't mean an artist is black balled. It just means that their music just isn't connecting enough to where people come out in droves to support it.

Who refused to work with her? Most, if not all of the producers and artists in the industry who produced for Beyoncé still produced, wrote, and collaborated with Keri. Black balled is when someone is pretty much avoided because their name, image, and brand is tainted (either by the artist themselves or another entity in the industry). Keri still had heavy play on radio, had big budgets from Interscope, and still collaborated with the top of the top artists and producers in the industry. If that's what it's like to be black balled, I'm sure a lot of artists toady would love to be blackballed.
