i hate how sting is so closely tied with wcw now. who cares if he wrestled for wcw, why does it matter. this is a guy that's been in the ring with countless legends and countless HOF'ers, won multiple titles, and has done just about everything there is to do in this business... but whenever sting is on wwe tv he is portrayed as just a glorified mascot for the once and forgotten wrestling company, as if they were just a rival football team.
there is absolutely no reason for them to keep alluding to wcw in this storyline whatsoever. sting is not ted turner. his legacy is not wcw's legacy.

I sat and watched all of those Monday Night War show on the Network, and it's funny how fukking hypocritical the WWE is when it comes to their television product. I could probably make a post pointing out the hypocrisy of every episode. But the most outlandish thing about it was how they tried to make it seem like it was Vince McMahon conquering Ted Turner. At the end of the day, Ted Turner didn't give a shyt about Vince McMahon. He never did. Billionaire Ted saw wrasslin as an investment while Vince saw it as his livelihood. McMahon is still salty as fukk about it
