Bruh it's a shame how they dropped the ball with Bret. All they had to do was start booking plans for Canada as soon as they signed him and run a tour there for like a month. First show he comes on and just shyts all over WWF and Vince. Whole fukking promotion should have been booked around that shyt but they just completely dropped the ball.

That was the difference between Vince and everyone else, he saw the vision of what tobdo next and he ran with it. Wrestling was already at a point where they wanted "tweeners" and the heels to he cheered. Bret could have put them out of business once he went to WCW but they honestly didn't know what they had or how to capitalize on it. He should have been doing exactly what Stone Cold was doing in ECW when he got shytted on in WCW...blue print was laid perfectly for them and they fukked it up.

Didn't help they had him come and feud with WCW Flair and Sting he ain't getting over with the crowd vs those two. You got a guy that didn't lose the WWF title legit come in legit and make him some half ass Hoegan stooge. They should've had Bret swerve Hulk and gave us a legit Hoegan vs Hart match that we never got in WWF instead they wasted it on a throwaway nitro just to build to another Hart switch he turned heel/face so much early on it made no damn sense.

Hogan always resented Bret. So even if they had grand plans, Hulk would've vetoed them anyway. In Bret book he mentions how he had to lobby hard for the steel plate angle and they were gonna have Hulk leave him(Bret) laid out after the spear tackle incident.

Bret is the focal point of WCW because he has come in and immediately feuded with Hogan and NWO so the roster gets behind him in Canada and when he returns back to the US because NWO beats the fukk out of him causing him to lose the title. Announcers put the shyt over as Bret coming in and being the force that finally got WCW back on track in the "war with NWO", Hogan doesn't bytch because he's right there in the mix and continues to hold the strap and WCW keeps bringing money in from the US and now the tours they have to run every couple of months in Canada because of Bret.

shyt could have been epic. Worst thing was the blueprint was there but WCW refused to use it. Take your in house NWO vs WCW story line, add in the story line from WWF which was DX vs Hart Foundation and simply end the Hogan/NWO vs Sting shyt and insert Hart in Stings place and BOOM you have a whole mother year of TV PPV'S and shows at the least.

Creative didn't have to do a gotdamn thing and they could have pulled it off. You just let Bret carry it over from WWE, his character doesn't change at all.
