man hip hop is something else man. I appreciate the good shyt and the nuances more and try to teach my son. Try to filter out some of the garbage but still let him be a youth of the time. Man we clean the crib to shyt like this on Sundays after a gospel session.

Larry Graham - Hair (There is a lovely bass from the guitar at the Intro and towards the end, I can work with that I need new Bass sounds too)
For the majority of the groove though that is way out of my skill-set lol, I'm still working with a basic Akai MPC and FLStudio and audacity so I am very limited.
Larry Graham - Earthquake. (good bass intro too, and there's some bugged out vocals that could be ripped) ... Interesting choices, I'll have to cook this for a bit though and blend it in with some other sounds.
'Earthquake' from 00.12 - 00.18sec (would make a good background bass for a gritty type of record too)

I played around with it a bit, the intro loop was slightly hulled up and distorted and I chopped up another part of the song to sample.
