Even if true those things dont make u a legend, at all. Plus, does people even know this?

You can state this cuz u a fan of his who paid attention to him. Nobody else.

If Currency a legend then who in the game isnt?
If he's a legend then that fat L.A rapper Dom Kennedy is GOAT

Curren$y is an underground legend cause of what he brought to the culture and how he shifted it. He literally changed the way things were done on an underground level. And anyone who paid attention to the underground scene understands this. Put it like this. nikkas call Nip a legend but Curren$y was FAR more known and influential musically and stylistically on the underground market. It ain't about what u like or don't like. U said if Curren$y is a legend than who isn't. When the question should be if Curren$y isn't than who is?. I didn't say Curren$y is top 10 all time or some shyt. I just said he's a legend in his field. Which he absolutely is. If he isn't an underground legend. Name an underground artist that u feel is a legend and compare his career to Spitta. nikka even brought back interest in Ski Beatz as a producer.

You still ain't answered how he changed the game in terms of rolling out music and what you're alluding to here.

Currency a legend?

He has his own fanbase and doin his thing but that dont make u a legend.

U gotta make an impact on the game. Most people offline donr know him or care about him and has no idea what hes done.

Curren$y is a legend in the Indy game…

He took advantage of the mixtape sites and dropped every month like a pregnant woman.

Ended up into a new deal down the line with his cult fan base.

He came up on Alchemist not too long after P came home and the rest is history.

His music ain’t for followers that play what’s hot on the radio.

Spitta made that AUX, that Blue IPod Nano music for us kids back in the day mayne.

U know how many people were waiting for Verde Terrace and Smokee Robinson.

This Jet Life ain't for everybody, this shyt is reserved for us....

In the rain playin foreigns
50 cars they like how much is the insurance
Worrying about my shyt what u shouldn't be doin
She tryna show me sumn that she just flew in
Talkin in code about the way that we be moving,
paranoid thinking everybody snoopin
Can't get caught up, I was brought up
All of my big dogs they had Impalas
When I saw them
I committed myself to ballin
Then I started
The beginning was the hardest
I went for it, refusing to be outsmarted...
I got halted, roadblocks they throwin salt in
But that only kill a slug n Imma hustler darling
Dusk to dawn, counted a whole armored truck this mawnin
🤙🏾

This is what happens when you release an album every 3 weeks. Currensy over exposed himself so much that people got exhausted of him. Nobody's trying to listen to a new 20 song album every month that might have 4-5 bangers. Especially when they all sound exactly the same.

Currensy diluted his own product. If it was pure uncut crack people might keep coming back. But it's not. It's middle of the road copy and paste bullshyt. And there's too much competition out here for that. Currensy don't respect his own work enough to take his time on it so why should we?
This. Dude drops too much music. I wanted to get into his music and was like nah im good, and this was in 2018.

This is true. When I was younger I tried to follow all his releases thinking once his name got big enough he would start consolidating the best stuff for actual albums.

He didn't.

And long story short I ain't trying to follow 10 releases a year. Not just 10 releases, but 10 of the same material. Bruh got a flow but it's only so many 2 minute songs about weed and being fly I can listen to.

I don't even want to go to a show now because I have no clue what he might perform.

Ngl. Spitta’s my mans, but I’d be lying to say half yall cap. It’s mostly hoes, cars, weed, and “I’m fresher/better than you”. I wish he incorporated more of his hobbies into his music…that doesn’t result in him sleeping w/ a woman by the end of song. Like bra, we get it. You fuçk hoes. Okay.

This thread made me check out 7/30 the other day. I was with on Jetlife around when PT dropped, right before it and Ain't No Mixtape was out. Was with him for PT2, with him for Muscle Car Chronicles that Dame scrapped that eventually came out anyway, with him when he fell out with Dame and tried going commercial on Warner Bros, was with him when it didn't work and went back underground

7/30 is just like every other one for the last 8-10 years except he's the laziest he's ever been and it doesn't need a thread. He's honestly been waste of beats for a long time now and it hurts to admit. Getting carried by smooth production while he's uninterested in rapping except when it's "Keep the E in it, chevys on switches, smoking weed it, don't post me in your pictures" and the rest of that over and over when he's not saying La la la la.

Seeing nikkas older than him come back into the game sounding refreshed and talking about new shyt is kinda lightweight frustrating. Or seeing ones his age like Freddie who might be sharper than he was on Scottie Pippens and Wiz, while he can't do melodies he still sounds like he's got a spark. Andretti just sounds like he's doing the shyt to keep buying cars and nothing else, no effort in anything.

U waited that late to try and listen to Curren$y??

Covert Coup was the time that u could have caught up with his catalog.

His stuff like Fear and Loathing in New Orleans and Super Tecmo Bowl wasn’t even 5 years old yet lol.
