Most of these kids dance for social media fame. I think they need to start making dance music again. Right now theyre making music to do drugs to. Im not judging but "mumble rap" killed dance music. In other news the little kids may start dancing again from what I see ...
In about another year once my businesses n shyt are more stable... I may sell 1 of my properties and
Start a teen club. A series of them... We have to bring str8 up dance culture and soul back... The people in their mid to late 20s right now are dead and soulless (for the most part)
But we can reverse it.... Its in our genetics
It's over.

No, it didn't. Cell phones + VIP room + Social Media killed dancing.
That's why us 'Old Heads' can still have fun at clubs actually dancing all night while this present generation posts up at the bar or against the wall all night.
'Nuff said.
Then youre not going to clubs at all lol. Hence the topicFair enough.
I wont pretend like shytty clubs don't exist.
But in my opinion, i'm not gonna frequent a club where no one is dancing..
Brother I still dance & of course I keep up , it's just a overall comparison to the widespread clubs where even the most simplest moves would be seen and now it's gimmicks like this dumb shyt that permeate the club scene.
Country breh says what?Reading through this thread has meand
at the same time.
Almost everyone who commented to a tee out here saying that "nobody dances together, people just have their phones out, black people aint got rhythym in 2018"
Breh... if you commented like that, you telling on yourself.
That means YOU and YOUR people cant/wont dance worth shyt.
I was just at STIRR in Dallas this weekend for a day party and every single person there was dancing.
I went out to 2 more clubs that night (one hiphop), every single person was dancing, from the ratchets to the brehs in suits
I had a section with my friends, we were all dancing.
If you complain about nobody dancing at clubs, its probably cuz you dont dance and your people that you come with dont dance
The fukk clubs ya'll go to where no one dances?
I mean shyt, all you need to dance is some music and some space.
If you a statue in a club, maybe instead of blaming an entire generation you could move your body?
I sometimes forget this is TheColi. Ya'll aint social like that.
Then youre not going to clubs at all lol. Hence the topic
I wish I could say this is a yall thing but I havent been to a event where people was DANCING dancing and years. Just people standing around awkwardly or fake turning up for social media.
Pointing and rapping yea, singing along excitedly yea. But only Caribbean clubs and events really have folks dancing.
I did one of these events before
Honestly it sounded fun on paper but lowkey the idea is bad for any type of socializing
I go out all the time breh.
I will say that the carribean joints and the African clubs I go to are more dance-centric than hiphop/trap ones.
but i dont go to clubs where nobody dances.
And if I do... i'm leaving iwthin minutes cuz fukk all that, I'm not going out to look at my phone.

I remember being turned off from dancing because CC Music Factory, Snap etc I embraced that hard shyt where dancing was frowned upon
Dancing dying off was nothing new
Do you think Mobb Deep, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z etc were dancing 20-25 years ago?
If you want to dance, listen to black dance music. After 1992, rap was no longer dance music.
When you put music like this on, if you have any melanin, you cannot sit still. My infant daughter dances to this shyt when I put it on and she cannot speak
