"You pop sh*t, apologize, n*gga, just ask kiss." Just that random ether at the end

:whoa:

Who was talking about anything outside of rap?

In 2013 nikkas is not checkin for Nas like they checkin for Jay-Z's music, let's be serious. Oh wait lemme guess. He dikkrides hot rappers of the moment and bodies them on their own songs to stay relevant. So B.I.G dikkrode Craig Mack & Bone Thugs too huh :rudy:

Not a mass level but I think Life is Good brought him back to relevancy enough for people to check for him again.

I mean I just saw him last month do an his own show in London and I never thought I'd see Nas do that.

of course, not taking anything away from Life Is Good or Nas. Just calling it how I see it. Nas has been struggling more than Jay to stay relevant musically, anyone with eyes or ears can see that

I keep hearing people say that and he's nowhere on the radio like he could be... but he still ends up in people's conversations, gets gold albums that somehow go number 1, does these tours always and does the big festivals.

Are we sure he's really struggling like that? If anything it seems like he's found a way to be in the relevancy of Hip Hop without the obvious channels like radio.

well the original statements were comparing Nas & Jay. But overall Nas is indeed winning amongst most veteran rappers

All these ether threads made me go and listen to the GOAT track again. Ayo on some real shyt if I was Jay Z I woulda had nas killed after listening to that third verse. Ain't no way a grown man could burn a hole that slow in my soul and not have me clap him. I could just imagine what that night musta been like for Jay after he left hot 97. You know he ran back to his car like

"I can grow facial hair"
"girls do like how I look"
"I wasn't abused that bad as a child" :to:

Had to listen to Stillmatic on my evening run. But something isn't adding up on Ether...

How did Nas treat Jay like a old nikka and a little nikka at the same damn time? :mindblown:
