the best is just to live in a city but in a residential area... u dont want to have to get on a highway to get to the mall or downtown.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
I've done both... Grew up in the city, parents moved to burbs, moved back to the city after high school and just recently moved back to the burbs.

I prefer the burbs currently with where I am in life got 2 kids, married, and no longer in da streets like that.

I actually like the fact that I'm not close to everyone so people don't just pop up on you all the time. It always felt like my apartment was the hub for everybody to meet up when going out and it felt like it was always some drama going down

But Dallas is a lil different but cause the majority of the dallas metroplex is made of suburbs.

If I was 17-25 I would still want to stay in them apartment complex where shyt was going down all the time. but now, I just want somewhere that chill where I can sit in my backyard and drink henny & smoke blunts without no worries :blessed:

Just moved back to the city after living in the burbs for the past 5 years.

Even though I generally like being solitary, being able to go to bars and such within 5 minutes of the crib is great. Everything popping is close by ... no more driving 20 minutes if I feel inclined to chill.

I can see my pov changing in a few years if I happen to settle down.
