Nah my voice is deep.
Sounding white is basically saying you're a swagless fakkit. You can sound intelligent but sound black. You probably sound weak soft, and gay with no ounce of black culture in you. Its rough. Listen to hiphop and start altering your speech patterns so you can stop soundin liek a fukkboy out here.Black girl I tried to get at told me this, she barely returns my texts. A mutual friend said it's because I'm too white and that I used the word "awesome."
Both my parents are black, I'm just lightskinned.

Aw man that's been happening to me all my life OP. The worst shyt is when you say something and they repeat your voice and make you sound like a Def Comedy Jam parody of a white man or some shyt like that, im always just like

This but I seriously think the majority of blacks that get accused of talking/sounding white realy secretly love that shyt. Think they better sounding like Tiger Woods ass nikkas. shyt don't got nothing to do in most cases with pronouncing words but how you stereotypically sound.
Nah no they don't because like ill continue to say 90% + when somebody says that they are talking about how they sound and that's not oh so harsh unless a person a straight sucker.
I rarely say it and honestly never heard anybody use it as trying to hurt anybody. Maybe I'm in the wrong circles because its always been said matter of fact when I hear it being said to a person

He used to do the discovery channel space documentary narratives......most folks didnt know he was black. lot of people were surprised (he stated this in an interview), to me, he sounds neutral. people assumed he was white because...well....he's talking about astrophysics (whatever that means). since we know what he looks like now, your brain goes 'oh yea, he does sound black' but in actuality he doesn't sound like anything, he sounds general, like Neil Degrassi Tyson. nikkas know better. It's just something we do to bring those who we're mentally intimidated by down to our level so we can feel comfortable with our own flaws. But like I said, nikkas know better.
Nobody would go to the doctor and be cool with him coming into the room with an x-ray like, "alright check it out now, ya moms is hurting because she got this thing called arf-rightis, and it be making her bones hurt all da time, what chu need ta do is get you some cream from the sto' and she'll be aight." Nobody would be cool with going to the bank and sitting down with a banker talking about, "man, I don't eeen know what to tell you cuz, them nikkas done got your bank numbers, what I say you need to do is just shut it down and let us set you up with something diff'rent, nahmean?"
Language...communication, is the cornerstone of the human experience. It's the most important thing we do. If you can't even do that well...
