I think the You Still Got It chants are the worse. Any old wrestler comes out, and instantly gets hit with it. Some without even having a match. Some without even saying a word. It's stupid. Make them give you a reason to say the chant.

The Holy shyt used to be sacred and has also become redundant but its still not as bad as 'You Still Got It'.

Yall some complaining ass nikkas.....have yall ever been to a live show?

Most of yall are bytching about the "crowds" but yall same nikkas would be "markin" the fukk out when that gong hits and the lights go out!

:dame:

marking out for the gong is natural and expected. continuing to chant and mark out long after the segment has already started and way past the point where taker himself acknowledged it is something else.

maybe you should watch it again if you can... it was really weird. he was actually trying to say something and they just interrupted him in the middle. it was bizarre.

U still got it has been around since Steamboat impressed at WM 25. if the fans respect real legends, it's just how it is.

Steamboat did something to DESERVE the chant though.

Jericho makes his 13th return and fans instantly chant it. And Jericho, while old, is still active enough that him getting the chant makes no sense.
Goldberg does his entrance, and fans instantly chant it.

Let the old guys actually do something to spark the chant. Not just have them return and instantly pop it out. I'm surprised the Headbangers didn't get the chant before their match a few months ago.

Man..this is America. U can't dictate how someone thinks. Believe me, if they prove to be lackluster, those chants won't last.

exactly, Steamboat had been retired for FIFTEEN years when he came back. Jericho leaves for 6 months and these idiots act like he's been gone for a decade. they are just trained monkeys, its part of why Stephanie and them don't respect their opinions at all.

I only dig it when a wrestler comes back after being away for years and starts putting in work like it's the 90's.

See:

  • Rock at Survivor Series in that tag with the kip-up
  • Goldust when he came back.
  • Vader, a few years back
The best is when old heads start feeling themselves and hit the crowd with the "I NEVER LOST IT!" :smugbiden:
