What are some of the jewels. Drop a couple then maybe nikkas would revisit the verse. I paid attention to all three verses and Kendrick's stood out because it was a good gumbo pot of word play, flow, aggression, and competition.
Jay Elec was spittin too but this particular verse was over shadowed...unless he dropped some jewels that went over our heads.
That is why I am asking you to give us your interpretation of it.
Where was the wordplay in Kendrick's verse? People swear it was lyrical but he rhymed nikkas with nikkas like 5 times
Some of my favorite lines are the one about tethering your Chevy Nova, references some parable in Islam about trusting in God but tethering your camel, read the parable it's kinda cool
Magicians fidgeting with the cobra... if you're a Jay Elec fan you know he's on that Act 1/Act 2/Act 3 shyt, referencing the movie The Prestige which is about magicians... basically he's saying other rappers are tryna do magic like him but they can't, they're even scared of the snake they're using in their magic trick (so basically they're fukking lame

)
Eyelashes like umbrellas... tissue is like an angel kissing you in the dark... very vivid imagery
The lines about rock/Roc alone have more meanings than Kendrick's whole verse, and those are the simple lines he's just throwing out, prolly took 10 seconds to write em
