My grandfather is a pathologist and his close friends are funeral home and cemetery owners so the death care industry has been something I’ve been fascinated with for a while. When I was a jit he would take me up to the county morgue and I would watch as they did intake. One after the other it would be some young black guys coming in killed from some type of gang activity. I think that’s what’s started my extremely dislike at an early age for the hood.
