no, back in the day people thought Emmitt Smith was the GOAT because the media said he was & he was winning rushing titles, and rings. Barry on the other hand didn't have the fanfare, did win a few rushing titles too but never won rings. Emmitt Smith use to always tell people to go check the stats whenever someone asked who was better between him and Sanders.
Toward the end of his career...everyone knew Sanders was better than him. Today you would be looked as a complete fool if you went around saying Smith was better than Sanders. Why? Because Sanders did things without all the HELP that Smith had around him.
Smith had a great offensive line, A HOF QB and HOF WR. His holes were huge...he didn't have to work hard for anything. It was just all there for him. He just sat down at the table and

I realize this is the Coli and filled with people who hate Lebron because of the threat he represents to their favorite players who theyve slobbed continually for great lengths of time (it would break their heart and make their existence on this board seem really trivial if Lebron were to prove them wrong). So I wasn't hanging around while some people I dont know trashed a man who, yes has played better at times, and yes more was expected of him.
