I kind of expected that they would go with Orton with the win since it's been a while since he has the WWE title. But it should have went to Daniel Bryan since he is on a hot streak and deserves a title run. But im gonna still wait and see how this plays out before I start to complain.

Instead of having an actual storyline and run-up to the title, you'd rather him win the prop that's usually used to get a quick shocker win at Raws and unadvertised matches at PPVs?

I woulda liked to see him win it, but if y'all think this is gonna kill Bryan's momentum, don't be surprised to find out that it doesn't.

I'm not really sure why nikkaz is all buthurt and angry that DB didnt win. He dont need the briefcase right especially with this whole "underdog" character thing they got going on with him.

What he look him doing some sneaky cash in shyt? It'd be a better look for him gaining a title shot the straight up way.

And honestly if was booking RAW I wouldnt have DB win the title untill WM30. Maybe have him challenge Cena at SS and lose, down the line win the RR, and finally win the title on the biggest stage of em all...which he deserves.

Characters like DB they are so much better CHASING the title than having it cause you gon' draw out all these emotions out of people when he gets THAT close and its snatched away from him. It'll make it all the more special when dude finally wins the title.

Also, you need to be careful of making the underdog look like too much of a loser if you're going to have him chase. If you have him fail too much, fan support will wane, and you don't know if you can fully get that back.

What happened is what I said would happen. No big deal. Bryan is above this..probably gonna destroy Axel and whoop his ass real bad. Getting DQ'd or something but he's definitely part of the big picture at Summerslam..you saw how he was booked in the PPV. He had the match won and Punk had the match won and they made SURE the audience knew it took something out of the ordinary to prevent them from attaining victory.

Or he could just straight up challenge Cena right now for it. He doesnt need the briefcase to get into a program with John Cena. With Orton having the briefcase there is the potential, down the line if DB wins it, for him to cash it in on him and turn heel which would be great cause they have thier little history thing going on.

There are alot more avenues to play with in having Orton having the briefcase than DB.

My faith is in DB being able to hold his momentum and stay over which he has proven over his entire career. He's going to be OKAY my nikka. I stand by my opinion that the best thing to do would have him win the RR and challenge for the title at WM 30. The "underdog" trying to win the title on the biggest stage of em all against the nikka that damn near always wins (Cena).

And its not like the nikka DB was a complete chump in the match. He was booked rather strong in the match.

This. Weren't the original plans for him to cash it in for a match at Summerslam? If he's gonna be facing Cena at Summerslam anyways, why bother giving him the case in the first place?

Orton's kinda floundering between mid-card and the main event. I'm not a fan of him at all but this is a good idea. He really needs something...he hasn't done anything since he lost the World title.

On the Observer podcast it was said the plan still is Cena vs Bryan for Summerslam. But that it wont be official till the Total Divas show debuts (2 more weeks). The working plan is Cena coming out and asking the crowd who should be the n°1 contender, they are hoping/guessing they will chant Daniel Bryan
