Listen, its understood that his reign on top (of the league) was short like leprechauns (barely lasted 2 summers) but you'd think he at least held down the SG spot for a while. You'd be wrong....

There is definitely a lot of exaggeration about Kobe's peaks and level of dominance.

With Kobe as the leader, they have two championships and only one other year where they made a deep run. They got blitzed in 2011 and were a non factor in every other year. But let the media people tell it and any team with Kobe was a contender
