I didn’t understand why Indiana kept kicking out for 3s after driving to the rim and getting their man in the restricted zone. Go up for the finish through contact and make the ref do something. Even if you don’t get the call it at least lets the Knicks know you are a threat. At a certain point the Knicks were getting a gods amount of deflections because they knew no matter how deep a pacer got into the paint they were going to kick it out.

KAT is annoying with the foul trouble but the Knicks have to play through him...

It can't be Brunson with the ball all the time takin all the shots

KAT has to be the focal point

When Kat is on the block or drives to the cup, MAKE OR MISS.....is the only true time you see the Pacers defense scramble or constantly get put into rotation having to react

the homophobia with KAT is corny. seems like a solid dude. i dont get the bullying.

Literally cant help themselves....if one person gets a laugh or a few daps people just Xerox the sentiment

Back to the series.....Brunson really has to be on a tight leash this series...simply because his turnovers or missed shots along with his defense is a force multiplier in A BAD WAY

It’s part of the process they use to tire opponents out. They want the opponents to rotate and have to sprint to guard the trailing shooter. Literally a key part of their offense is to do that.

I said it before the series but the center rotation is the Knicks biggest strength. The pacer did a very good job hiding that by either shooting great or exploiting their own mismatch at PF since OG is really a SF playing up. The Knicks negated some of that playing big which kept the pacers going off initially cause Psiakim had KAT to deal with.
Also going to the Knicks bench helped, but Carlisle and Haliburton was giving it to much credit. The real difference is the Knicks better managed their advantage at the PF/Center position.

New style of NBA. You shoot threes all the time and you can either beat just about anyone or blow a convincing lead outta nowhere just about to anyone.

Normally you'd say whoever wins that game 4 will most likely win the series, but you never know under this current style of shoot threes.

Look at Denver they shoot threes less, but they have jokic who can score in paint efficiently. They kept themselves in OKC series for 7 games when they should've lost that series in 5 games.

Many teams don't have a player who can score some easy buckets in the paint. If KAT and Robinson do their thing in the paint.... and pacers have more bad shooting quarters.. Knicks then still have hope.

Hali is a very skilled player, but he seems to lack that killer instinct to take over a game when the team needs them to. Even Jokic suffers from this on occasion, but he usually grabs the bull by the horns and assumes full responsibility. HaliBurton instead will stay in the passive role, will waste precious ball possession time on the shotclock and will just keep deferring to his other teammates until the game is lost. It's frustrating to watch as a neutral fan, I can’t imagine how actual pacers fans feel when they see him shrinking from duty and not seizing the opportunity. He would be so much more effective if he went for it, initiated plays and looked for his own shot more.
