Also since Bos/NYK went 6 instead of 5, NYK/IND only has 1 day breaks between each game. Knicks can do it but right now, i don't see it. get them runnin shoes ready

It'll all be dependent on how the Knicks can match the Pacers' energy for the whole 48.

Indiana has all these guys coming off the bench who can burn you at any given time (Mathurin, Obi, McConnell etc), so they'll definitely have the advantage when it comes to the regularity of runs. Whereas the Knicks essentially only have McBride. This is gonna be a series where they're going to need OG and Mikal to give them consistent production, because if they don't, they'll have to be reliant on Brunson pulling them out of the fire.
Knicks need to slow the game down.

Knicks fans tell me outside of this game, how many good halves have the Knicks played this series? Maybe 3/10? That’s not good. Are the Celtics that good? OG hasn’t looked good since game one.

Hopefully Thibs can adjust and KEEP KAT active and engaged. He can eat Turner up and has size against Siakam.

This MUST be a KAT series for the Knicks to have a chance. Thibs must be on point against Carlisle.

Thibs and KAT will be key. Pacers has too many 1-3 horses and will cancel out the guards and wings.

100.

As the homie @superchoops just said above, there's only going to be one day's break between each game, so they do NOT want this series turning into a track meet. Indiana has been playing like some cotdamn hyenas this postseason, terrorizing teams in packs and just grinding perimeter players' bones into dust, which doesn't exactly bode well for the Knicks and their short rotation.

The Pacers have played press defense more often than any other team in the NBA this season, according to Synergy Sports tracking data — 12.4 possessions per game during the regular season, and 17.7 possessions per game in the playoffs, twice as much as any other team in the postseason field. Indiana has forced turnovers on nearly 17% of those press possessions, which is good, but almost beside the point; even without forcing a cough-up, the press pays dividends in the discomfort it inflicts on the opposing offense.

Knicks in 7.

A bad Brunson game is 16 points on ineffective shooting.

A bad Haliburton game is 4 points where he barely shoots.

Knicks are gonna win it for Wally
If the Basketball Gods keep writing the script of Haliburton proving all his doubters wrong this postseason, well, we know how this story will end for Wally.
