Y’all crazy if you think it’s gonna be a cakewalk/easy win over Indiana
Uh yes we were. A simple Google search is your friend. Who said it's gonna be a cakewalk? God damn yall just make up shyt about knicks fans and run with it. It's gonna be a tough series, you're the one talking we shouldn't have optimism like we're going up against the 96 bulls.

He's not a Knicks fan, that bad mojo not on us :hubie:

I personally think either @DPresidential or myself should’ve made the thread.

Pacers beat these dudes last year without home court and bodied the cavs and bucks this year.

Besides homer Knick fans in the moment not sure where all this optimism coming from :patrice: pacers have looked way better in the playoffs

I got Pacers in 6
Indy’s paint defense is suspect, I expect OG & Tinman to do damage downlow. Indy is probably blow them nikkas out with the 3. Knicks shown the inability to keep up against the Celtics when Tatum n em got hot from deep. Knicks gonna have to really lock in and keep them boys contained in the half court or else I see Pacers in 6 too.

It'll all be dependent on how the Knicks can match the Pacers' energy for the whole 48.

Indiana has all these guys coming off the bench who can burn you at any given time (Mathurin, Obi, McConnell etc), so they'll definitely have the advantage when it comes to the regularity of runs. Whereas the Knicks essentially only have McBride. This is gonna be a series where they're going to need OG and Mikal to give them consistent production, because if they don't, they'll have to be reliant on Brunson pulling them out of the fire.
Not necessarily disagreeing with you, but how is this different from a superior Celtics team?

The Pacers and Celtics are two completely different teams. I don't think you can use the previous series and compare it with this matchup. Celtics had their own issues with depth and lack of appropriate size (Horford being old and KP being unwell) that Pacers won't have to the same degree.

Indiana loves getting out and running and just swarming you on defense, which presents a different dilemma than what the Knicks were faced with against Boston.

Pritchard gave the Knicks fits. The Celtics found success, albeit in spurts, guarding full court. Again, I'm not disagreeing, but the Knicks lack of bench depth was supposedly their Achilles heel (promise pun unintended) all season. I think the evolution from "Thibs runs players into the ground" to "Knicks are very well conditioned" is going unnoticed in a postseason littered with injuries. I trust the bucket getters on the Knicks to do so while I can see a Haliburton no showing a couple times. I personally think dominance on the boards being a huge factor this series. Myles Turner showed out against us last year. I'm not sleeping on this Pacers team at all. fukk the Pacers, doe
