RESTORING THAT FEELING.

If you don't like this... you don't like NBA basketball

:salute:
To the Knicks. To the Pacers. This was AMAZING.

Game 2 and this series is going to something else if this keeps up.

The Knicks had the lead and were cruising to a victory... I looked down on my phone... looked up... there were 3 points difference! Nesmith goes completely OFF and kickstarts the most improbably comeback.

What a WILD ending. And I love it. Both teams deserve PROPS. And it couldn't happen in a better place than MSG. The 90's Knicks and Pacers are proud!

I'm more concerned with them getting rid of Drop Coverage and cleaning up their rotation than the pace. They shifted to more switching against Boston, and it helped disrupt their offense. I thought they'd keep that in place for Indy, but they were back to deep drop coverage and got cooked 40% three-point shooting.

If they can force more turnovers and tough shots by Indy, then the pace is fine since it'll present transition opportunities for Bridges, OG, and Hart.

I don’t know why they went back to Drop coverage. That is notable, and should be called out.

Knicks took advantage of the Celtics having Porzingis basically unplayable due to illness and Al Horford not being able to hit anything from 3. The Celtics' pick and pop game was gone because of it. It allowed the Knicks to use their switching defense and go under screens because there was no threat on a big spacing out the floor
Pacers are doing what the Celtics idiotically did not. They are making Brunson and Towns play defense. Switching defense against the Pacers makes the Knicks even more vulnerable than they already are

Got into a whole argument with a couple at the bar. Knicks are good but they cant compete against a selfless team like the pacers. nikkas say Haliburton overrated but he one of the best at his position in the history of the league already he sets a pace that nobody can comfortably play at other than his team gotta put more respect on his name
