KAT at 100% is a defensive liability….at 70% that’s exasperated, below 70% it’s 5 on 4. Better off playing Deuce and putting in KAT for a few mins each quarter if he’s <70%. Better defense and the shooting is lateral.

To contrast that point, the only game the Knicks won in this series is the game where KAT went insane in the 4th quarter(in addition, the Knicks offense generally speaking looks best when it's run through KAT)
This damn near needs it's own thread, but when did the narrative become that the Knicks are just Brunson and a bunch of bums?
ALSO, why are these "analysts" and talking heads saying that the Pacers are just so much better than the Knicks?
- Nobody said that the Pacers were better than the Knicks in the pre-season
- Nobody said this during the season
- Nobody said this during the Playoffs until now
This is truly unbelievable to hear. The Knicks have a GREAT roster, and one of the best starting lineups in the NBA

It's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure all the ESPN NBA guys picked the Knicks to win the series. Now they're acting like the Knicks are some poverty team with a lone star carrying them. Like Iverson in Philly or some shyt

I think it's a lot of things coming together at once. Even ignoring the regular season stuff, the Knicks really haven't played well in the playoffs either. That Detroit series could've gone left very easily if THJ gets a call that 99% of the league gets and the Pistons don't completely collapse down the stretch of G1.
It's gonna be hard to win 4 playoff series when your two best players are such liabilities defensively. I think the roster needs a hard look - but I also don't think this is a team that Thibs can get the most out of.
