From battling Apartheid, to trying to legalize weed for the destruction the legal system causes in communities, to battling poverty in Africa, microfinance projects, financing lawyers battling injustice in the states, funds for poor people in the US, there's even rumors of him being a backer of Occupy Wall Street and the list is long as hell
People just hate on him cause his rich as fukk, jewish, ultra intellectual and white, and has a thing for speculating in currencies (even if he grew up during the time Hungary was occupied and he couldn't go to school cause he was jewish and funded his own education as an immigrant in the uk by working two shytty jobs). If anything his currency speculation transfered some power from a small group of central bankers to the markets and the people. He's one of the coolest billionaires out, and he doesn't owe anyone anything. Unlike most billionaires he's not just donating money to get buildings at Harvard or UCLA named after him, he's actually trying to help make real change anonymously and publicly. For causes other billionaires and shyt doesn't want to touch. He's the person republican hates cause he wants to build up the social security, fight poverty, increase taxes, reform drug policies and on.
