I hate to say it and definitely won't do it but the only way to beat them is to join them. We got to start joining the police force in record numbers to be the change we want to see.

If not we'll just be going thru the same shyt over and over again. Imagine 100+ hood nikkaz joining the police force and doing shyt our way. Stepping up when we see bull shyt like this, and doing the same thing to these fukking cacs to show them how it feel.

We need to start teaching our youth to become police officers, judges, political people.. The only way we'll see change is if we get in these places of power and putting in work. Start infiltrating these muthafukkas.

Nah fukk that:camby: we need to get at these city councils and start getting hard laws on the books revoking that dark window tint law, and probable cause bullshyt, also straight up getting weed legalized period because it seems those are two major motivating factors for these cops to approach you or pull you over. Take that away and they have zero reason to do that bullshyt. Also start by chipping away at these police pension funds and union dues because if you employed by the city you should be held liable for your actions....

Laws arent the same for Black men. No need in arguing and asking questions of why or am I being detained. They want to escalate the situation. Give them no reason. Do whatever they say. You're really at their mercy. Lose lose situation.

Show them CACs your ID and go home. Wrong battle to fight and not the place to take a stand against them. Fight another day.

They get you surrounded like that, they can easily say you grabbed for their gun. AVOID them.

unless its a stop and id state, which NY is not, you have no reason to show ID if they can't establish a RAS,,, reasonably, articulated or suspected committing a crime. also its policy that officers ID themselves in their official capacity when asked by a citizen... His rights were violated and he should lawyer up quick or pro se this encounter

when I first moved to the A, i was riding with my cousin coming from my aunt house late in Dallas, Ga, which is Paulding county, majority white county. The officer pulled him over for a bogus traffic stop said he was swerving and crossing traffic lane and tried to ID me. I wasn't driving as I explained to him, and I committed no crime for him to even ID me. We going back and forth for like 5-10 mins as he calls for back up, now its like 4 police cars now.I finally told them yall can call me "Plaintiff" if you keep trying to violate my 4th amendment right. If he wanted my ID he'd had to dig in my pocket and get it himself, b/c I wasn't going to help him violate my rights and that he'll be loosing his qualified immunity as well if he did...

He tried to play me and claimed I was sovereign citizen, and I told him I dont think the laws apply to me like you police officers do. That cac wanted no smoke with a ninja like me who knew the law and his rights.

I'm glad you ighht and shiit didnt go left for you but the reality is the police expecially the NYPD dont give a fukk about your rights or the constitution. Getting pummeled and dragged to jail all depends on the cops that show up, your at their mercy. Theres nothing shorty could have said in that video that wouldn't get 9 officers on top of him.

Do you think if shorty started talking about the fourth ammendment that would have saved him from this?

True the only way to see anything changing is by putting our own in power en masse.

I wish rappers would use their influence to do something. Everyone capitalizing off the stigma, and this still happens. Conscious, political rap needs a comeback.

Can you imagine what would happen if all of Rap put their money towards taking action? Put together a group, playing the same power games and putting judges, lawyers and politicians in place.
I wonder what its gonna take for them to start doing it..its always a tragic event to make people get together, and even than the unity don't last that long...hopefully they figure it out b4 some bullshyt happen. Jayz seem like he starting to finally get with the shyts, he might be the one to start it up.
