its not racist...
its being in a service position where people expect you to be conservative.
My dad was a dentist and had 95% black patients...
he got his ears pierced and had so many patients comment on it he took it out
we are doing a disservice to our people by putting everything on race and not being real about the world and how you look
It is racist, it is owned by racist, and allows racists to run rampant on the site. Anything and every negative stereotype they want to say about us is being allowed by the owner and those who work for him. As soon as Elon Musk took over Twitter and turned it into X, it became a full on racist site.
Unfortunately, some of you want to use the site inspite of what has happened to it. That demonstrates a propensity to put your head in the sand.
Also, your father was selling a service. If the manner that the service is given to people is not what they want, they can complain and see if it is changed. That includes the manner in which the service giver presents themselves. Now, you can ignore the complaints, but then you can't control if the people decide they are going to take their patronage somewhere else. Your father preferred keeping their patronage, and maintaining his income, instead of keeping in earrings during work. I commend him for making the intelligent choice. He had himself and a family to take care of and made sure his ability to do that was not hindered.
