Teachers today are in a lose lose situation if they get involved. They can get hurt themselves. I'll say that many are ill equipped for conflict in the classroom. In the video in OP, the teacher should have sent him outside of the classroom as soon as she heard the other students putting the battery in his back. Where there's smoke, there's fire. I couldn't teach in the public setting.
