Chief Keef had a name in Chicago pre-Kanye West, but when 'Ye remixed "I Don't Like" he put a spotlight on a city and genre that was once-rarely acknowledged in this day and age. "But was that enough?," Young Chop pondered as him and DJ Vlad discussed Kanye's role in promoting Chicago artists. "That's not enough for me. Let's find the next motherf**kin' Chief Keef or even better. 'Cause we got that s**t here. That's all I want n***as to do."

Though Young Chop can admit Kanye West "helped...on the mainstream side," he now wants 'Ye's continued support of upcoming artists from their hometown. Hear how Young Chop wants Mr. West to give back to Chicago's artists after last year's rant above.

Chop was/is signed to Warner Chappell, rubbed some very important heads the wrong way with being arrogant when he signed & is now still living at home with his mom in Chicago blaming the entire failure of the Drill Movement on Kanye West... in a nutshell.
