He can't sing live and his writing sucks. Mj combined multiple dance styles, was a star for 4 decades, could sing live, and wrote all time classics. Only thing Chris can do is cuss off key and street dance. Mj was the total package.
Chris is a phenomenal dancer.............. Only thing he lacks is singing talent. Lol @ you thinking MJ was writing them songs by himself. If Chris could sing better he would have been a problem.
MJ wrote a lot of his own songs. Some other ones like You Are Not Alone and Man In the Mirror were the few ones that he didn't write.
He had help writing. I'm not saying he didn't make the concept and the most of it but the label helped him write them.

If he had help writing any of his songs, whoever helped him would have gotten credit. He was always gracious and real enough that he never left someone out. Even giving credit to people who only contributed a couple lyrics, like a backwards Beyoncé.
There were songs where multiple people wrote it and everyone's name was listed in order of how much they contributed with MJs name being last or in the middle. Then there are a whole bunch with his name credited only.
And plenty of producers who worked with him n the studio like wyclef, J.Jam & T.Lewis, teddy Riley, etc would say that when MJ would come to the studio with song he just wrote he wouldn't allow anyone to change anything and took no musical direction form anyone. He would literally direct every musician on exactly which note to play and when like he had the entire song mapped out in his head already.
You clearly didn't have a clue, so you're welcome for the education.
