Young Daughter Speaks about absent father

My take is...why corrupt her mind with bias at such a young tender age? Very impressionable mind.


I always heard, you don't bad-mouth the other parent in front of the child(ren)....let them come up with their own opinions. She clearly is saying SOMETHING off camera, cuz there's a couple times the girl sounded like she was finished, she'd look over, get some kind of coaching/instruction and continue on.

We gotta BREAK the cycle. Teach that young princess that, even tho daddy's not around, he still loves you. Then as an adult, go talk to the child's father. My thing is, even if he never shows back up again, you keep family biz inside the four walls...

People who aren't around kids daily aren't aware of how aware these kids are nowadays. These kids are smarter and as they become 8yrs and older they notice whats going on around them and don't want a sugarcoated answer.

That lil girl wanted to know where her daddy was and all her mommy had to do was show his social media pages with pictures of him and his gf kids or showing off money and new clothes. Then she's gonna ask why is it like that? Why isn't he doing for her. Is this why he keeps flaking on her visits and phone calls?

Its a sad reality that's being bred when absentee parents choose to not be apart of their kid's life and the other parents has to explain why. It may not be pretty but its the truth. Now the little girl has came to her own conclusion and probably wouldn't want anything to do with her dad now.

Did she show her daughter her pics of dad doing those things on social media or did the daughter overhear her going off on him about it? Or maybe she heard her talking bad about him to friends? I'll I pointed out (and several other ppl in this thread) is that the kid is CLEARLY being coached off camera. That you cant deny. That is poor parenting also. Again, people forget how smart and aware kids are. Kids can realize domestic violence or drug use amongst their parents even if it's not done in front of them. It's apparent the girl is mature enough to see what's going on and spoke on it. That's not uncommon regardless of age or social status among kids of a similar age group. Granted, some kids are still immature and not as knowing but you obviously have those who are and will either ask why or form their own opinion.

Just like you said let the child form her own opinion since they are so smart at that age it shouldnt be a problem. The mother in this video is CLEARLY not letting the little girl form her own opinion and thats what Im trying to convey to you. The dad and the mom aint shyt in my opinion. Granted, I know we arent even having this conversation if the father was in her life but its still foul. I feel bad for the little girl.
