nikka if you can't tell the difference between Dro from the best thang smokin and his fall off since fukking with Yung LA then I don't know what to tell you. His mixtapes have been forgettable and mediocre at best. Hell I remember on SOHH we had an ongoing thread about how he use to kill shyt and his lines were hysterical yet entertaining as fukk. Now he just seems like a shell of his former self. I still haven't got a chance to listen to this yet even though I did download it but I'm not expecting anything special.

Technically he's never lost it but he lost "it" overall if that makes since...last time I saw him back in original form wuz that "Maserati" song he head,my nikka snapped on every level.


And he's always been able to kill guest verses,but these mixtapes dude been releasing...even the shyt that leaked that wuz supposed to be his album wuz subpar....what's hard to say is if dude wuz really a great artist to begin with....his actual song making ability wuznt really that impressive to begin wit evn if u think back to Best Thang Smokin....production wuznt all that great,he truly carried that album on his back lyrically....nikkas wuz hangin on every word like and he wuz hilarious and spittin game and all around rawness..

If he ain't a great artist its gon be hard to recreate that same excitment we had just hearing him spit we had when he first came out....on top of that he's released mixtapes full of techno bullshyt,mixtapes full of him singing and obviously catering to females,tryna do the autotune shyt and ride the wave these young nikkas is on....Dro always sounded better rappin like he wuz a old player who hung out with the old heads.


Heard the tape last night tho and I'm actually excited for this nikka again,wouldna known bout it but I follow em on twitter....I still think he need a change of scenery,not that I think T.I is holding him back....but I think he's kindagiven up and just let's Dro do hiis own thing,who knows if there's reasons for that or not...but dro need sumbody like a Ross who's goin to put sum real input and help a niggga craft a record....I don't like Ross we all kno,but he's one of few rap nikkas/execs that take interest in what they artist is doin and helpin em put out quality....can't blame TI tho really,dro been put out alotta straight wack shyt over the yrs....not a case of dude droppin heat and u can't understand where the album is.
