Converting office buildings into apartments is mostly about money. If what an owner can get from residential plus the conversion is greater than foreseeable commercial leases then it will be converted. Most of the former commercial buildings in the wall street area have already been converted and that was even before the pandemic. If the work from home trend continues then they'll have no choice if they want to make money.

Breh, they cannot just flip a money switch and turn every type of building with offices into condos and a lot of these older structures cannot be ‘flipped’ altogether without being torn down and rebuilt.

Everyone IS taking a stand. You really want sick COVID positive people to work while coughing up their lungs? :usure:

Point to where I said I wanted that…

A lot of you dudes here too much to be as slow on the reading comp as y’all act.

Follow the money then you’ll realize how life works one day. And not necessarily how much, most of the time but who….

I did notice this

Most of the people who want to go back to the office are “extroverts” who be miserable at home (being around wife, kids, etc.).

Most of the people who were complaining about quarantining are the same. I could care less about being around people everyday

Right. You gotta question what a person's home life is like if they're miserable at their own homes.

Anyone who agrees with this article is simply a try hard lame ass extrovert who misses getting attention in the office. You don’t need to be in the flesh to network. It’s 2022. Everythings online. I love being able to actually spend time with my family now instead of wasting 10 hours away between work hours and Atlanta fukking traffic. It’s a new day and millennials not taking the bullshyt anymore. We want humane conditions

Breh, the old status quo is over. And "Follow the Money" is forever disrupted thanks to COVID. Because of that, The majority of the baby boomers will leave the workforce in the next 3 to 4 years. What then? In the age of climate change, oh best believe that these long commutes harm the weather patterns of all the major density areas, so they will cut down on that as much as they can.

Hybrid work is the future.

Listen to AOL CEOs brehs

Read his back history and apparently his experience was most mostly in sales for 2 decades before he climbed up. Good for him I suppose but he's projecting like a muhfugger

A lot of CEOs got to the top by schmoozing, networking, going to the golf course etc. They succeeded with face-to-face interaction, so naturally they think it's the best approach.

CEO at my company basically said the same shyt. There are about 100 reasons why everyone should be WFH but the reasons for being "in person" are vague...teamwork and camaraderie and other stuff that sounds like grasping at straws. I'm lucky to be a permanent telecommuter...and once you experience it, very hard to go back.

If you dont like working from home you need to seriously take a look at your house. It’s probably boring to be in because you were never there. I transformed my home office into basically an executive suite. I got records, memorabilia, TV and games, food and drink, a couch, the whole 9 in here.

You cant just put a desk next to your bed and face a wall all day

Yup.

Better look at inspiration or hire an interior designer.

Y’all taking y’all asses back to “work” :mjlol:

You really think these cities and metros about to leave all these buildings and sky scrapers half empty while y’all sit at home in sponge bob pajamas, repeating the same shyt on the coli you probably posted 100 times before with pornhub tabs open incognito like shyt sweet…?

There’s whole economies around y’all being in the city, front the top of them skyscrapers and the maintenance / upkeep which doesn’t stop, down to the parking lots, shopping, day care, the utilities and shyt underneath, …Gas nor electric being used as much, like everybody gets a piece of that. This country and it’s handlers need y’all out and about which is why this whole half lock down shyt was never gonna work or really happen like that it most places here…

Don’t take me feeling any type of way about it personally, I tab my jabs at you office bozos :lolbron: but it’s just talkin shyt and we still all in this together…y’all are gonna have to take a stand :yeshrug:

Thank you. Majority of the Coli has no self awareness

I don't like to be in the office (full remote life :blessed:) but I do think there's a value to in person connection depending on the field.
Especially when it comes to problem solving.
