what changed my perspective on this was coming across a homeless interview from an account called atlanta street interviews. these folks opening up about their childhood family life, you realized they had absolutely no chance. none.

I feel sorry for him, some brehs start in a really bad place so I can't judge him that much. I had terrible influences on the street but my parents and older siblings were strict with me to counteract that..........some of these breh's have fathers that are criminals or inherit beef from older siblings.
One of my day ones was in school for trades at 18, his older brother was a well known drug dealer and got killed so little bro inherited his little drug operation and all the conflicts attached with it. Since then he's been in and out of prison, had his face cut etc It's tough to break the cycle if that is your background.
