That's the first time I've ever heard someone accurately describe Em btw. I like Em, or at least I liked some of his older stuff. But first off his albums have aged terribly on every level, and second his lyrical content is trash. This is why I laugh so hard when white people claim they "identify" with Em. Ok I get identifying with the drug shyt, and Em deserves credit for talking about opiates years before it popped up on the mainstream's radar. But outside of that he rapped about...poop, raping his mom, beating his girl, and fighting pop stars. And that's what white people identify with?
They need to just admit it: "he white, I'm white, so there it is." I'd at least respect that because it's honest.
