nikkas love to play dumb

Joe biden tagged lynn whitfield, rasheeda and dallas austin:mjlol:

Isaac hayes son was in the same pic as jeezy but joe didn't tag him because he isn't known

I still don’t get why u would come for your own, when all politicians do it.
The other side does it with racist celebrities. Why criticize your allies and not your enemies?

They always do us like this...yet we've got bug eyed terrified slaves still running around stamping this nonsense

this is why I support the ADOS and FBA movements wholeheartedly, this is also why these politicians are confused by these movements

"Uhhh...you don't LIKE the rappers any more!?" :bryan:

U ain't going anywhere with lying ass disrespectful thieves like tonetalks and yvette carnell calling the shots. Why weren't they at the byron allen hearing after all their constant scream fests?

They busy running ados inc like a dangerous secret society or something SMH. Bunch of losers!

cool breh. U convinced me. Republicans do it, but we shouldn’t. We should hold ourselves to higher standards.

How do we inform ppl who may not know about the educated black elite but know jeezy? How do we market to those folks? How do we stop c00ning?

they were all there tho. 15 black men with degrees from the best schools In the nation were at the table. He was the only one that didn’t have that background. Why do y’all have a problem with that?
some times people have a problem with rappers who claim to be former drug dealers being the face of their movement :manny:

I get that. I don’t get how meeting with jeezy and posting a pic, makes him the face of the movement.

Oprah met with Obama and nobody thought she was the face.

White folks are good if they stand next to a dem or republican , they have protection, white privilege so all they really vote for is health care and taxes

Us black folks are in a way different position, we need protection, laws and reparations

We don't have time to do things for pr moves , we should of learned our lesson with obama

No tangibles no vote

The question is--How did Jeezy get there? Why is he even in the room? Who's next Rick Ross, Big Meech, Pistol Peete? IMPO he isn't qualified.

I think we can all agree that he's the most widely recognizable face in there and would probably garner the most media coverage.

Then this discussion may not be for them, AND THAT'S OKAY. If people don't know who our great black sholars or intellectuals are outside of entertainment, that's on them.

A small group of people can do a great thing for the larger group, it's always been like that...

He lives in Atlanta. He’s a member of that black “country club” the gathering spot. He gives money to black politicians.

But above all else he’s been talking about criminal justice reform with the media for a few years now.

Keisha Lance Bottoms Used Her Famous Father's Drug Arrest to Fuel Criminal Justice Reform

Jeezys been putting his money where his mouth is and has really been doing a lot of positive stuff in Atlanta. They didn’t randomly just pick a rapper to take pics with Joe Biden. He’s been working hard for criminal justice here.

He’s very active supporting the mayor on criminal justice down here.

That’s why idk why nikkas are going so hard on him. He’s really doing positive stuff. It’s not c00ning to include a person who has a platform trying to use it for good.

We above all else need to give other black men a chance, when they try to do righteous stuff.

This thread is incredibly frustrating. :francis: If Jeezy can’t do positive stuff bc of his past, how can others like him become included in society and not ostracized bc u don’t want cacs to judge us.

reading responses in here is truly sad.

But Jeezy has the same plans as as those educated black men, has committed tons of money to getting the same goals.

but he can’t be included bc he doesn’t have the same background? That makes no sense to me. :mindblown:

:what:Atlanta has a TON more intelligent, educated, and wealthier black people than Jeezy running around there, you probably pass by them every day and don't even know it

what you need to be asking is why aren't THEY sitting at that table instead of gargling that man's scrotum like a 11 year old fan of his music.

Again, the time for optics and game playing is over, the entire black community is in defcon 1 - and like it was stated on here, these candidates were up in TYLER PERRY's studio and barely mentioned us.

but i guess because they can take photo ops w/rappers all is well. :comeon:

well for one Jeezy wasn’t included in the policy conversation and is not sitting at the table.

he was invited to the criminal justice reform conversation bc he’s actively trying to do it!

He gave money to Jay-z/Meeks organization for criminal justice reform, he’s talked to cnn and local news about criminal justice reform. He was one of the few artists openly supporting Black Lives Matter, he’s writing op-Ed’s about police brutality.

What else does this man need to do, for u to be ok he’s really involved about the movement and I guess it’s ok he takes a picture with a presidential candidate?

When will he be good enough to contribute his thoughts on the direction of our country?
